Testimonial

"Working with Clare Ashbrook on my first-ever website, vicroyetalent.com, has been an incredibly positive experience. With my limited knowledge of web design, I was honestly a bit daunted by the process – but Clare guided me through every step with patience, clarity, and genuine support.

She really took the time to understand what I wanted the site to reflect and created something that feels both professional and personal. Her eye for design, attention to detail, and calm, collaborative approach made all the difference.

This website was hugely important to me, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I’m so grateful to Clare for her creativity and care – and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to bring their brand to life online."

A one-week website build for a fast-growing talent consultancy in TV production

When Vic launched her talent consultancy pairing indie production companies with brilliant freelance talent, things took off quickly. By January 2025, she’d stepped things up fast—building relationships, landing projects, and growing her business at pace. The next logical step? A website to match her momentum.

But here’s the thing, Vic didn’t have a website. Not even a holding page.

She needed a clean, easy-to-navigate space to show off her services, her recent work, and thetestimonials she’d received. She also wanted a way to manage and promote current job opportunities.

What Vic Needed

  • A first-ever website for her business

  • A way for production companies to view her services and work

  • A jobs board she could manage herself

  • A site that instantly conveyed trust, credibility, and professionalism

The Process

Vic’s brief was clear and no-nonsense. She didn’t have a fixed idea of what the site should look like, but she knew what it needed to do. My job was to translate that into something that felt like her business: fast-moving, sharp, inclusive and people-first.

After an initial chat, I got to work, and the first homepage mock-up I sent was the one we ran with.

“What stood out was how quickly Clare got what I wanted to achieve. Her first mock-up was the one I went with—I loved the colours, the tone, all of it.”

We kept things simple and clean, using confident typography and bold blocks of color to help Vic stand out in a competitive industry. The jobs board was designed to be super easy for Vic to update herself—so she could stay agile and responsive as projects came in.

The Outcome

The new site at www.vicroyetalent.com sets the tone for Vic’s consultancy perfectly. It introduces her business with clarity and confidence, highlights her track record, and gives production companies a straightforward way to get in touch.

The foundations are in place to help her grow and scale her business even further.
